How much bias can your detectors withstand?

Answer
The guaranteed max bias is 30 Volts. Often (but not allways) the detectors can take twice or three times as much bias. One way to find out how much bias that can be tolerated is to gradually increase bias and study the leakage (dark) current. Try to keep the bias about ten volts below the point when current starts to increase steeply with bias.
